In cooperation with Ankara Üniversitesi Sürekli Eğitim Merkezi (ANKÜSEM) and Su Yönetimi Enstitüsü, the “Training on Decision Support Tools in Sustainable Water Management: Water Footprint, Water Efficiency, Artificial Intelligence, and Modeling” will be delivered.
The training program consists of two modules. Registration may be completed separately for Module 1 and Module 2.
MODULE 1 (6 hours)
* Sustainability in water management and basin-based approaches
* The concepts of water footprint and virtual water
* ISO 14046 Water Footprint methodology and reporting
MODULE 2 (6 hours)
* Water Efficiency Regulation and certification processes
* Digitalization and artificial intelligence applications in water management
* Water quality modeling approaches for surface and groundwater
The modules will be presented in an integrated manner, combining theoretical frameworks with practical applications and case examples.
DURATION
Two modules, each 6 hours, for a total of 12 hours.

ELIGIBILITY
The training is open to professionals working in public institutions, local governments, the private sector, consulting firms, academia, and students, as well as all professionals engaged in water management.
* Engineers and specialists working in water management, environmental management, sustainability, and climate change
* Professionals responsible for water efficiency, water footprint, environmental reporting, and ESG processes
* Experts working on water quality modeling, artificial intelligence, and decision support systems
* Regulatory and supervisory staff working in water and wastewater management, planning, and strategy development units within central and local administrations
CERTIFICATION
Participants who meet the minimum attendance requirement of 80% will be awarded a Certificate of Participation.
The program will commence upon reaching a sufficient number of participants. Participation is limited to a quota of 30 participants.
